I’d like to thank you all for your patience over the last 10 weeks. Getting back to running the clinic smoothly again will take some time to get right, but gradually we can get back to some normality. If you can spare a few minutes, please can you read through the following in order to get an idea as to how things will be a little different from your last visit. Feel free to contact me in the usual way if you’ve any concerns or questions.
1. Please refrain from coming into the clinic if you suspect you are a ‘possible’ or ‘confirmed’ case of COVID-19. I cannot offer a face to face appointments at this time. For guidance, please see the link here
2. Due to increased levels of risk, I would also advise you stay away for the time being if you are immuno-compromised and/or shielding. For guidance, please see the link here. If you are high risk but you choose to come because you feel safe to do so, then that is fine with me.
3. Lianne has been busy refreshing the clinic with a new colour, and it looks great. The whole room has been stripped back, deep cleaned, repainted and fabrics removed from the window seat area to make the area easy to wipe down between patient visits. The larger fabric chair will still be there but I will be advising everyone not to use it for now. The clinic bench will be cleaned down between each patient and high contact surfaces will be cleaned every 2 hours at least.
4. Regarding PPE, I will be doing the following as a minimum in all consultations when there is no possible or confirmed Covid-19 from either me or my patients: The guidance is from Public Health England.
5. Please aim to arrive right at the time of your appointment. If you arrive early, please stay in your car or wait outside. I have had to cut off the waiting area (kitchen) for now to keep my family and my business separate.
6. Contactless payment is now set to £45, so if you want to lower your risk then use this payment method. I can still happily accept cash, card, Apple Pay and Android Pay as usual if preferred.
7. Please come alone for your treatment which unfortunately means not bringing the children for some. If you are coming for treatment as a couple, or family then that is fine.
8. I have increased the time between patients so that there is less chance of a crossover. If there is a crossover, please be polite in keeping the 2 metre distance between us.
