The end of Summer already means statistically, around 65% of UK general population are likely clinically deficient. This is due to little sunlight exposure, or overuse of high factor sunscreen. By February next year, this will rise to 87%. If non-Caucasian or obese, the chances of being deficient are much greater. Something to remember is that this will include children who are often forgotten about. You can test for vitamin D, however if you haven’t taken any or haven’t been away to soak up some winter sun, you are likely to be one of the 87%....

The events of the last few weeks with the Covid-19 outbreak has affected us all in many ways. Ensuring we have a solid immune system has never been so important. These groups are elderly people above 70 years of age, and people with underlying conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease...
Milk protein is the second most common intolerant when we test it in the clinic. The following excerpt from Dr Pizzorno's 'The Toxin Solution' may explain why we become intolerant to the sugar component (lactose).
Mother's milk is a natural food for infants, but once we leave infancy, most people's intestinal cells stop producing lactase, the enzyme needed to digest milk sugar. Some people continue to produce lactase into adulthood but lose it in later life. Lactose intolerance is especially common in adults of African, Mexican and Mediterranian...

A new study, published in the British Journal of Nutrition, and using data from 6,438 women collected over the course of 12 years has found that an anti-inflammatory diet may actually lower the risk of depression. Compared to women consuming a pro-inflammatory diet, the researchers found that an anti-inflammatory diet reduced the likelihood of depression by a very significant 26%. The Lorisian food intolerance test we can do here is designed to reduce inflammation so therefore can help with depression.
